Cheyenne, WY – A very convenient campground right off I-80, a few miles east of Cheyenne, WY. We’ve been here twice, both times with 45 foot class A motorhomes towing Jeeps, and both times the interior gravel roads were easy to negotiate and our sites were sufficiently long (although barely). I did note people towing longer vehicles, such as pickup trucks, behind a 45 footer unhooked to avoid sticking out into the road. All utilities worked well and the site was pretty level.

This is a Journey KOA, so not much to report in terms of features, but it did have a small and slightly sad mini golf course, a koi pond, a pool, and a playground. This campground is designed for an overnight stop and it fits that bill well.
