Kingman, AZ – We stayed here just one night enroute from Grants, NM to Death Valley, and this rv park failed the most basic of RVing tests: we had to unhook our tow vehicle in order to fit. We had reserved a spot for a 45′ class A motorhome with a vehicle in tow months in advance, and the spot they gave us was woefully insufficient for our combination length of ~65 feet. We had to unhook and park our Jeep perpendicular to the RV, and even then it was tight. Space issues aside, everything else about this campground is fine.

A little short for 45′ towing, had to park Jeep next to RV

Our site had a nice outdoor patio area. Only one night, so did not put slides out, trees could’ve been an issue on passenger side

Interior gravel roads were plenty wide for a Class A towing

We took advantage of the nearby Blue Beacon Truck Wash to rid ourselves of caked on snow and salt from the previous days drive. We’ve used Blue Beacons around the country and found them all to be excellent, and this location is no different. While the word “Truck” is in the name, RVs are frequent customers, and they know how to handle us. True, we had to wait in line 90 minutes, but I assume the wait is less on a non-snow-recovery day.
