Cortez, CO – Sundance is a nice RV park located in downtown Cortez. While they have pull through sites, our stay of 9 nights was considered “too long” for us take up such precious space, so we ended up in a back-in site. Our site was wide and level and all utilities worked well. We particularly enjoyed the downtown location, where you can walk to restaurants and even a City Market grocery store if you’re willing to brave crossing busy route 160. We would stay here again.
While staying at Sundance RV Park, we visited Mesa Verde National Park, Hovenweep National Monument, the Anasazi Heritage Center, and the Canyon of the Ancients National Monument. We also visited the Four Corners Tribal Monument and Yucca House National Monument.
