4/31 thru 5/1  Deer Creek Valley RV Park Topeka, Kansas. Drive of 400 miles/ 6 hours

5/1 thru  5/4   Cherry Creek State Park Aurora, Colorado. Drive of 544 miles/ 7 hours & 30 minute

  • Hiking at Cherry Creek State Park.
  • Repair of stone chip- RV Window: First Blood

5/4 thru 5/8  Arch View Resort  Moab, Utah.  Drive of 352 miles/ 5 hours & 30 minutes

5/8 thru 5/17  Thousand Lakes RV Park  in Torrey, Utah. Drive of 147 miles/ 2 hour & 30 minutes

  • Touring Capital Reef National Park
  • Touring Dixie National Forest
  • Hiking:   Capitol Reef: Hickman’s Bridge; Fremont Overlook; Capitol Gorge Trail; Surprise Canyon;   Dixie NF: Chriss Lake
  • Catherdral Valley Loop (stream crossing- requires high clearance vehicle & get update from Park Service (Capitol Reef Visitor Center) on status of crossing
  • 4×4 Scenic Drive to Pleasant Creek 4×4 trail with Loop back to Torrey via highway

5/17 to Camping World in Salt Lake City, Utah. Drive of 194 miles/ 3 hours

  • Steering Stabilizer added to our Tiffin Allegro Open Road

5/18 thru 5/20 to Century Mobile Home and RV Park  in Ogden, Utah. Drive of 55 miles/ 1hour

  • toured the Great Salt Lake and local parks

5/20 thru 5/21 to Snake River RV Park  Idaho Falls, Idaho. Drive of 177 miles/ 2 hours & 30 min.

  • Walk along Snake River Walk

5/21 thru 5/25 to Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park  in West Yellowstone, Montana. Drive of 108 Miles / 2hours

  • Touring Yellowstone National Park: Visited numerous Geyser Basins; Wildlife Watching & Photography. Animals seen: Grizzly, Black Bears, Elk, Bison, Antelope, coyote, wolves, moose

5/25 thru 5/29 to Rocky Mountain RV Park  in Gardiner, Montana. Drive of  about 200 miles/time is greatly variable- traveled thru Yellowstone National Park. There are 2 alternate routes.

  • Continued Touring of Yellowstone National Park
  • Hiking: Rescue Creek Trail, Yellowstone Picnic area- Specimen Ridge trail and Geyser Basins.

5/29 to 5/30 to Lusk Rest Area  in Orin, WY. Drive of 507 miles/ 7hours & 10 minutes

5/30 thru 6/15 to Riverview RV Park  Loveland, Colorado.  Drive of 180 miles/ 2 hours & 40 min.

  • Touring Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP)
  • Hiking: RMNP: near Trail Ridge Visitor Center; Colorado River Trailhead;  Larimer County Open Spaces: near Loveland: Devil’s Backbone Open space/trail & in Fort Collins: Cache La Poudre River Trail
  • Traded-in RV for a diesel pusher & moved into it

6/15 thru 6/25 to Fort Welikit Family Campground Custer, South Dakota. Drive 320 miles/ 5 hrs

  • Touring: Custer State Park; Wind Cave National Park; Jewel Cave National Monument; Needles Scenic Highway, Crazy Horse Memorial & Mt. Rushmore
  • Hikes: Custer SP: French Creek trail; Jewel Cave NM: Canyons Trail; Wind Cave NP: Sanctuary Trail; Needles Scenic Hwy: Cathedral Spires area
  • Cave Tours:  Wind Cave: Natural Entrance Tour;  Jewel Cave: Scenic Tour
  • Horse Trail Ride (2 hours) in Custer State Park- Stables @ Blue Bell Lodge
  • Mini Golf in Custer

6/25 thru 6/29 to Badlands/ White River KOA  in Interior, South Dakota. Drive about 117 miles/ 2 hours

6/29 thru 6/30 to Newtown KOA  in Newton, Iowa. Drive 600 miles/ 9 hours

6/30 thru 7/1 to  Somerset Service Plaza on PA Turnpike Drive 843 miles/ 12 hours & 45 minutes
