Columbia Falls, MT – We used this campground as a base for exploring and hiking in Jewel Basin and the Flathead National Forest for 4 days. There are about 70 sites, most long, level, gravel pull-through affairs. The gentleman who checked us in had me drive in a roundabout fashion, including going back on the main road, to get to our parking spot. It didn’t seem necessary, but it made him happy. There are a few restaurants and a Smith’s grocery store within walking distance.
