Lancaster, PA – A very nicely run family campground in the heart of Amish country in Lancaster County, PA. We stay here because of proximity to family, but I could easily see coming here for all the activities nearby, such as Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park which is co-located with the campground, If you have kids it doesn’t get any more convenient. There is sufficient wooded buffer space between the two that it’s very quiet, with a meandering stream out back and a functioning Amish farm across the stream. There is also Outlet Shopping and Pennsylvania Dutch Country exploring.
Almost all of the sites are back in, so this is not the ideal choice for a quick overnight stop if you don’t want to unhook. Depending on the site you may have some fun leveling with a long RV. We had to park our 40′ MH off the pad and into the grass to achieve level one time. But the next time our site was long enough for a 45′ MH to level completely on the pad.
