Moab, UT -Wow, there really is a nice RV park in Moab! We’ve stayed in Moab, UT a number of times before, always at Archview Resort & Campground, which is just rows of tightly packed RVs in an open field, but The Portal is much nicer (and pricier). The niceness... Holden, ME – Sadly, I cannot recommend this RV park, and it’s for a single reason: unreliable power. Our full hookup, 50 AMP site was unable to provide the necessary voltage to power our motorhome. I was getting only 100 volts on one leg and 110 on the other.... Niantic, CT – A nice option for an overnight stop for travelers along I-95 in mid Connecticut. Regular readers of this blog know I’m a sucker for hiking trails, especially ones directly accessible from a campground. At this KOA, just across the street from site... Carlsbad, NM – This is a very nice campground located about 10 miles north of the small town of Carlsbad. If you’re staying here to visit Carlsbad Caverns National Park and/or Guadalupe Mountains National Park, as we were, it’s a pretty long drive... Terlingua, TX – I don’t like giving a 1 star rating to an RV Park. I really don’t. I’ve reviewed 149 RV Parks over the past 6 years and only doled out the lowest rating once.
