Specs for the 2018 Cornerstone have been released and there are a few changes, but nothing huge.
- The inverters have been upgraded from 4800 watts (2800W + 2000W) to 6000 watts (3000 W + 3000W). Nice change, I wonder if any new circuit breakers are wired to run off them, perhaps the induction cooktop?
- Side digital cameras. If incorporated with the existing Total Vision rear camera this could be nice. Otherwise, meh.
- A white noise back up alarm vs. the traditional beeping. According to this article, sounds like a good safety change.
- Larger water pump at 4 gallons per minute.
- Bose SoundTouch 300 sound system (soundbar, subwoofer and surround speakers). Replaces the existing Bose 130 home theater system. I can’t say until I hear it, but seems like a nice upgrade.
- The Villa furniture premium package is now standard
I’m guessing the new Cummins X15 Performance engine will make an appearance in the 2018 Cornerstone. Same power ratings, but with decreased DEF consumption and increased engine braking performance in the mid range.
