Dawson Creek, BC – This campground is perfectly fine for a one night stop before departing on the Alaska Highway. There is little ambiance here — no trees, no walking loops, not close to town, dust & gravel dominate — but you can’t beat the location. The pull through full hookup sites are plenty long and level and access is quite easy. Just watch out for the rule police that enforce a large list of no fun anytime or anywhere draconian rules, such as “Do not wear outside shoes in the bathroom”, “no partying at any time”, and “we like pets, but you can’t bring yours”.
