Here is the packing list we use for RV trips. Because we store our RV in a storage area, which is basically a gravel area in a field, we remove food items, such as the toaster with its ever present crumbs, to prevent rodents from making a home. We are also not plugged in during storage and it can get quite hot/cold inside, so we remove cleaning products, all food, anything that might melt/freeze or get damaged (think plastic wrap or electronics). Some items on this list usually stay in the RV, such as the Good Sam Campground guide book, clean dishes and cookware, trash cans, pillows and blankets. We also adapt the list based on the trip location, time of year, climate, and activities planned.
