Jackson, WY – An RV park in downtown Jackson, within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops…how can you go wrong? To start with, you’re paying for the location, to the tune of $67/night. And for that you get a run down campground that is essentially a large, gravel parking lot. At least the sites are large and very level, albeit close together. Also, there is an electrical substation adjacent to the park that hums menacingly all night.
This is one of the closest campgrounds that can fit Big Rigs and has full hook-ups to Grand Teton National Park. There are not many other options in the area.
From here we toured Grand Teton National Park, National Elk Refuge, and the Bridger Teton National Forest.
In summary, staying here is a vote for convenience and little else.
