Like it Green Ribbon  Concrete, WA – Nicely laid out campground with an abundance of trees and green spaces. All the 50 amp, full hookup, pull through spaces are on a secluded row near the back of the campground with a large grass area and only trees behind that. Peaceful.

Beautiful field behind our campsite

We used this campground as a base for exploring North Cascades National Park and Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.  Both provide excellent hiking opportunities. It worked ok, but it was about an hour drive from North Cascades National Park. We did not find an open big-rig friendly campground closer.  There is more information about the area in our Fall in the North Cascades post.

Trees were a little close on the driver side. Couldn’t move further over due to length of sewer hose run

We were here in the Fall.  As an added bonus, a short distance down the road toward North Cascades NP is a large parking area that looks onto a large open field that was frequented each evening by a large (over 100) elk herd.  The elk were in full rut, which included bugles and sparring between bulls.
