Medway, ME – Located not far from the banks of the Penobscot River, this campground provides reasonably close access to Baxter State Park — home to Mt. Katahdin, the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. Our site was plenty big. If traveling sans kids, ask to be located away from the pool to reduce noise. One cool feature of this park were the rabbits that were hanging out.
