Hot Springs, AR – We enjoyed our stay at this quiet RV park in a rural, hilly setting about 14 miles away from the town of Hot Springs and Hot Springs National Park. This is a fairly small park with somewhat tight sites (well, for a 45′ motorhome) and only a few sites have 50 AMPs. We reserved a 50 AMP site months in advance, but unfortunately the RV in our site the night before broke down and was unable to move, and no other 50 AMP sites were available. So the manager put us in an end-of-the-row 30 AMP site (the nicest site in the park IMO) and comped us two nights fee. I can’t argue with that.

Our end of the row site was long enough for the RV

We had just enough room to pull the Jeep in front of the RV

But even the longest site in the park was a tight fit, forcing us to park the Jeep perpendicular to the RV and a little on the grass (the manager told us this was fine). Egress out of this site was not fun due to the end-of-the-row location. The only two options are pulling forward and trying an extremely tight U-turn that I don’t think we’d make or to back out on the road and then set up properly for the U-turn the other direction. The second option is the best, but a pickup truck hanging out onto the road made it challenging.
